Item is a gold statue of the Raven sitting on top of a clam shell while the First Men crawl out from inside the shell. This gold statue is an Artist's Proof of the larger yellow cedar statue comissioned for the University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology. Other editions of this sculpture include the original 8.9 cm boxwood sculpture, as well as a medium sized onyx sculpture currently on display at the Bill Reid Gallery (2006.4.1). |
