Item is a mask in the shape of a bear. Its snout is a bit longer than Reid usually depicted his bears. It has been finished with red and black paint. This was one of Bill Reid's earliest works, and as such, is a bit rougher than some of Reid's later works. Signed on verso: Bill Reid 1964 |
