Series documents Bill Reid and Douglas (Doug) Cranmer's work on UBC's Haida House Project. They were commissioned by UBC to create a series of sculptures for Totem Park. They worked from 1958-1962 at the UBC carving shed, where they produced two houses, 7 totem poles, as well as other sculptures. Five of these items can be seen in these photographs, in various stages of progress. Eventually these carvings were relocated to the UBC Museum of Anthropology (MOA) where they can be viewed today.
